Your Conformity Is Showing

This article by our friend Seth Godin teases apart some old notions about how idea adoption works. Old demographers would lead us to believe that most people land somewhere between adventurous innovators or complacent Luddites in all of their behavior. But those of us who work in creative fields have always known that it’s possible to be wildly  inventive in your work, but still prefer meat and potatoes and the same kinds of clothes your dad wore.

Take a minute to think about the areas of your life that are governed by convention, and those in which you’re willing to get a little risky and go your own way.

If you can’t come of with any of the latter, start planning your rebellion now. Even if it’s just having dessert first, you’ll thank yourself. Enjoy the article.
